Rubesh and Carrie Jacobs, an enterprising husband and wife team, founded SRJacobs & Company with the goal of leveraging their talents and experience to capitalize on new and diverse economic opportunities. They are currently pursuing businesses along the following lines: Products and Services from Under-developed and Developing Countries By opening new markets and creating new products, the duo hopes to showcase the strengths of resources in poorer countries. Plucker’s Pick is their first such endeavor. To deliver the best tea possible, the Jacobses have worked with Sri Lanka’s finest tea experts, scientists, and tea garden management teams. The firm will continue to look for ways to de-commoditize the products and services from under-developed and developing nations. Philanthropy The firm currently focuses on providing funding to organizations focusing on children’s issues. It is also funding an organization to bring increased focus and resources to canine cancer research. |
