HOW TO BREW
Tea is a pleasure, and brewing it should be enjoyable. There is a process and often, skill, to brewing the perfect cup of tea. Take the time to enjoy the process as you learn just a bit more every time you brew.
For a consistent experience, these simple steps are recommended.
| 1. |
Place a measured amount of loose-leaf tea into a teapot (1 teaspoon of tea leaves per cup…and one for the pot – the Plucker’s Pick recipe!). |
| 2. |
Separately, use a tea kettle to boil water. Start with natural spring water, if possible. Water with the least amount of mineral content is best. |
| 3. |
Remove the tea kettle as soon as it begins to boil. Over boiled water will impact the taste and flavor of your tea. |
| 4. |
Pour the water immediately over the leaves in the tea pot. |
| 5. |
Stir the leaves and water together to release the flavors of the leaves. |
| 6. |
Cover the tea pot with the lid and let the tea leaves brew for 3 to 5 minutes. Brewing time is very important to the taste and flavor of the tea. If you prefer a stronger tea, use the full time. If you prefer a lighter, lower strength tea, brew for less time. |
| 7. |
Once brewing is completed, pour the tea through a strainer into the cup. |
| 8. |
Add milk and sugar to taste, if desired. |

It truly could not be simpler. This pure product is awakened by water, and provides refreshment as elemental as the sun and rain.
